Code of Conduct

Applies to everyone here learners, mentors, staff, lurkers. If you’re reading this, it applies to you.

Do:

  • Be patient, especially with people earlier in their journey than you
  • Give credit when building on someone’s idea
  • Disagree without making it personal criticize the approach, not the person who posted it
  • Use the flag button instead of public pile-ons
  • Assume good faith first most confusing posts are someone stuck, not someone trying to start something

Don’t:

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone
  • Doxx people or share private info theirs or your own
  • Post sexual content involving minors zero tolerance, permanent ban, reported to the relevant authorities
  • Spam, phish, or drop malware links
  • Trade or sell solutions for graded cases (see the Spoiler Policy for what counts)
  • Pretend to be staff or another member
  • Post anything you wouldn’t want indexed by a search engine with your name attached — this forum is public

If something’s wrong:
Flag the post don’t reply to it. Replying to bad behavior usually just prolongs it. For urgent safety concerns, also use in-app Support so a human sees it fast, not just when a mod next checks flags.

Consequences:
Warning → mute → suspend → ban. Severity decides where we start, not where we always begin — some things skip straight to a ban. The goal isn’t punishment, it’s protecting the space for everyone else here.

This works alongside the Guidelines and Spoiler Policy.
