Praxicraft is a practice and assessment platform. When someone posts a full solution for a live task, it doesn’t just “spoil the fun” it breaks the system for people who want to actually learn, and for companies running Assess evaluations on real candidates.
The rule is simple: hints and approaches = yes. Full working solutions for live graded tasks = no.
What counts as “live”?
Any Career or Assess task that’s currently being used for grading or evaluation including ones you’ve already completed. Finishing a task yourself doesn’t make it safe to post the answer; other people are still working through the same one.
Things that are fine:
- “I’d start by checking the DAG import errors in the Airflow UI”
- Pointing to docs or explaining a concept (window functions, XCom patterns, etc.)
- Small code snippets that teach something without solving the whole case
- Debugging sandbox/IDE issues with error screenshots
- Discussing general skills outside of a specific live case
- Talking about a case’s topic or what it’s testing without walking through the solve
Things that will get removed:
- The complete script/query/DAG that passes a live Career task
- Step-by-step “do exactly this to get 100%” for a named task
- Assess invitation content, org prompts, or candidate answers
- Selling solutions or asking people to “just paste the answer”
- Screenshots of your own completed solution posted “for reference”
- DMing someone the answer after being told no in the thread this still counts
If you’re stuck:
Post in the right Help category. Include what you tried and where you got stuck. Ask for a nudge, not the finished thing. People are happy to help when you show your work.
If a task gets retired (no longer used for live grading), the restriction lifts and it moves into general discussion we’ll note this when it happens. Until then, treat every live task the same.
What happens if you break this:
- First time: we edit the post, point you here, no drama
- Again: mute (24–72 hours)
- Selling answers or leaking Assess content: immediate suspend, possible action on your account with the org running the assessment
See a spoiler? Flag it. Don’t quote the solution in your reply quoting it to report it just re-posts it for everyone else to see before a mod gets there.
